WHITECHAPEL sind mit ihrem neuen Album A New Era of Corruption auf Platz 43 in die Billboard Magazine’s Top 200 Charts eingestiegen. Dafür waren knapp 10,700 verkaufte Einheiten in der ersten Woche nötig. WHITECHAPELs A New Era of Corruption platzierte sich darüber hinaus auf #2 in den Hard Music Core Stores Charts, auf #3 in den Independent Albums Charts und auf #5 in den Hard Music Albums Charts. Zusätzlich zu diesen amerikanischen Platzierungen landete A New Era of Corruption auch in Kanada auf Position 70 in den Current Albums charts, auf #9 in den Indie charts und auf #8 in den Hard charts. A New Era of Corruption ist das dritte Album in der Geschichte der Band und ihr zweites für Metal Blade Records.
